Stress is the enemy of relaxation, so it’s easy to understand how a diagnosis of MS can make it very hard to feel relaxed. That’s why it’s so important to make a conscious effort to reduce stress and take time to engage in the activities that you find relaxing.
There are many ways to reduce stress. Some people benefit from exercise, others swear by yoga, Tai Chi, meditation, and relaxing music. Find your way to relax and incorporate that into your daily life.
